Photoshoot

Here are some photos of my actress that I could use for my film poster or magazine cover. This was taken in a classroom although I didn't want the location to be scene because my theatrical trailer will not be shooting in a classroom. I just used a plain coloured background so that the photos will look professional.

Mock up of my Magazine Cover

I have created a magazine cover that displays the two main characters on my theatrical trailer, 'The Hourglass of Love'. I made the title clear on the canvas so that people will identify it quickly and make them familar with the characters. The title of the movie stands out well as this is placed on top the main image against the light colours. However, I feel that the yellow block is too bright which could make the reader confuse on where to start first. I also dont like the picture because the flash is too strong and the image doesnt look professional at all. I feel that I need to add more subheadings to this magazine so that it will attract more readers to buy this magazine.

Ideas for a strapline

I am having problems with my tagline so I decided to create a brainstorm on it.
I want the strapline to be catchy, with meaning, and links to the events of my film. Here are some ideas that I have thought of:

- What will you do if your true love is in front of you the whole time?
- Love is a timeless affection
- There's only two options for our future together

I feel that the last tagline is successful because it simple and makes the readers think about what the two options could be. However, I think that I should change the word "our" to "a" so that it involves everybody and not just the couple in the trailer.

Making changes for my Film Poster

As you can see, I have added more images inside the hourglass so that it provides the viewers more images to look at. I have also changed the tag line in this poster although I feel that the tag line is too long to read. I will try to change this tag line and change it to a shorter and catchy one.
As you can see below, I edit my poster using Photoshop so that my ancillary product will look more professional.

Soundtrack

This is as soundtrack that I have made in Garage Band. I really like this soundtrack because it soothing but also it links to the kind of theme that I am doing. This soundtrack sounds very romantic, which I could apply this on the scene when the two lovers are happy.
